Pipe! 30.12.2010

First day in the pipe at Bolgen Davos, as it was just finished by these days, therefor it was in a really good shape (cause of o’neill evo, as usual)! It was a good day to get the feeling again, but there have to be more, more to come…. Afternoon and for now on the pipe is covered by Pro’s who practice for the event.

Good old times.

I’m super confident! It’s been a great day with my sister and old friends of ours: Chloé, Alaïa and Shawn, Niko and later Seba with the hole Vogelbach and Merz family. We hit to Parsenn and had some chilling runs and finally ended in the restaurant, where we told some old and new storys.

Later apèro at Vogelbachs. Thank you for a fun day and I really hope to see everyone as soon as possible!!! Hope to get some of those pictures : )

Now I’ll go for dinner with my family and we’ll do the christmas tree. Good times!

First day in the park. Scuol. 20.12.2010

I changed place yesterday and went to “Luc’s Lodge” in Ardez. Was good to see this “Schluchten Schaisser” once again ; ) ..And all the other guys today: Fabi, Corsin, Flo and Luc from four10skiing and my Gangster Cisco.

For me it was the first park day here in Scuol, but it was dope. Only a damn sore back, my foot hurting again and i can feel every bone in my body… but he, it was doooope. Felt comfortable on kickers with Airs, Grabs, Jibbs and 180s, guess for all spins I need another day to get into my old trim. Honestly we had 2 GoPros on us, but didn’t take any good video or pictures. maybe next time ; )

I’ll be staying in Davos over Christmas and celebrate with my Family.

Rinerhorn. 19.12.2010

Another beautiful powder day in Davos, Rinerhorn. I met Simone, Danjo and Joni at the parking, where I got my brandnew Pieps LVS. Safty first!

Today we where on the run with 2 goPro’s, so I’ll try to get a nice little video edit together, but propably it will take some time.
What more can I tell: we had super sweet runs and really good snow, some brooklets once again, but just pure fun!! Especially when you’re having such good people around you. Lookin forward to the next session. Brrra!!

Tonight’s programm: first a beer and sauna, then tv by iphone : )

Fascinating desaster. 16.12.2010

Ok, where to start? Those trips with Fäbi are very, very special and always an adventure. Let me begin at Landquart, where we met in the morning:

The plan was to hit off to Grüsch – Danusa. Once there, parking was empty and everything was closed down. Someone told us Gondolas workin on Wensdays (??!!!) and Weekends. OK. Next stop, Klosters to go up Gotschna and search for some Powder. At the top, we realized that everything was going against us: Weird snow conditions, Slopes and Ski lifts closed, mixed with damn freezy temperatures. But in the end we had Powder everywhere and everytime (especially while travelling with Gondolas, train and bus).

Kick off. We found some amazing runs and droped some really beautiful lines. Through pillows, hit some trees, crossing brooklets…all good stuff. Check out the pictures!! Yea and there was also “The Cave”, what a story, we now know what “icy” means… really !

Travelling with train and bus to get to the stations again took us some time, but was fun anyway. Shredding ended when my Bindings broke. What a pitty. But it was kinda “fit into the day”. As I said, always adventure, bad luck, and some quantum of good luck ; )

Frozen car windows (from the inside!) and some “Spätzle-Pfanne” made the day comin to a good end. Thank you Fäbi, it was awsome!

Sick and tired … literally.

Last Tuesday I met Aeschbe in Chur and we hit off to Laax. Actually, the weather forcast was a lie. Flat light, icy slopes and I had already a uneasy feeling. Result: I’m sitting at home with a damn flu and waiting to get it off!

At least it was good to see and have a talk with my bud : )
